This winter Cozy Thomas introduced me to a Christian yoga instructor who wondered if we would be interested in hosting classes here at Central. We agreed and it has been such a blessing!

Join the music on June 9 as we say farewell to Pastor Diane

Pastor Diane Gordon and husband, Tom, will begin their journey to Mt. Pleasant First UMC in mid-June. The Staff Parish Relations Committee, with an assist from the Sanctuary Choir, invites Central members and friends to a celebration of her ministry.

We currently have nine children and youth headed for our West Michigan Conference campgrounds. We thank all who have donated time and dollars to help these young people on their summer spiritual journey.

With the help of certified instructor, Lisa Bush, Central is hosting two Christian Yoga experiences every week. Come to the Youth Room on Wednesdays and spend a healthy hour and a half.

Central-Mt. Zion Mobile Food Pantry shares with Nelson neighbors

Central UMC and sister congregation, Mt. Zion COGIC, shared 10,000 pounds of food with our Nelson neighbors from the Huntington Bank Parking Lot on the corner of Muskegon and 2nd Streets.
